Hymn to Freedom

Last year, I took over the musical direction for the Martin Luther King Jr memorial service that the diocese of Southwest Missouri does each year. The service is this Saturday at 4pm. I thought that the most appropriate prelude for this service could only be Oscar Peterson’s Hymn to Freedom. The piece was written for and dedicated to MLK. Here’s a practice run.
